Description

Lead the architecture and implementation of cloud-native data solutions on AWS. Own end-to-end modern data platforms, including data warehouses, BI, and analytics systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end modern data solutions using AWS and Databricks.
• Define cloud-native data platform architectures and data management strategies.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Data Management, and BI teams in complex IT environments.
• Engage stakeholders to envision and build creative data solutions as strategic assets.
• Address performance challenges and constraints in data processing implementations.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of total experience, with at least 4 years implementing cloud-native data solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AWS cloud-native data platform architectures.
• Experience with advanced data processing frameworks like Databricks.
• Proficiency in ELT techniques and ETL tools.
• Deep understanding of data warehouse concepts and columnar database architectures.
• Experience with popular databases and data warehouse technologies, including Snowflake.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, specifically key-value and document stores.
• Exposure to processing substrates such as Confluent Kafka.

Preferred Skills

• Implementation experience with AWS SageMaker for production analytic models.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh concepts and Data Products design.
