Description

You will design, implement, and integrate real-time data streaming solutions on AWS. You will own the migration of on-premises or self-managed solutions to the cloud and deliver on-site technical engagements to meet specific client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build customer data streaming implementations.
• Design and manage real-time data ingestion using AWS Lambda and Kinesis.
• Author AWS Data Analytics best practices and contribute to internal technical community programs.
• Develop and package data service offerings for technical field use.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of industry experience in Data Engineering, including data modeling, ETL development, Data Warehousing, and Data Lakes.
• 3+ years of experience building enterprise-level streaming and real-time architectures.
• Expertise in AWS managed streaming services, specifically Amazon MSK and Kinesis (KDS, KDF, KDA).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, EMR, and AWS Lambda.
• Proficiency in Spark and Scala programming.
• Experience with at least one streaming framework: Apache Kafka, Kinesis Data Streams, Apache Spark Streaming, Apache Flink, Apache Storm, or Apache NiFi.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
