Description

You will engineer, optimize, and maintain scalable backend services and data pipelines on AWS using C# and .NET.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-throughput, low-latency AWS Lambda functions in C#.
• Architect scalable backend services using API Gateway, Lambda, and S3.
• Implement and manage distributed caching layers with Redis/ElastiCache or OpenSearch to enhance API performance.
• Optimize AWS Glue ETL pipelines, data structures, and workflows for API efficiency.
• Conduct performance profiling and drive end-to-end optimization for backend and data pipelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in backend, cloud, or data engineering.
• Strong expertise in C# and .NET, specifically for AWS Lambda development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Deep understanding of AWS Glue ETL pipelines, Glue Catalog, and data lake concepts.
• Experience tuning querying patterns against Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
• Proficiency with event-driven architectures including Kinesis, Kafka, SNS, and SQS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Experience managing distributed caching with Redis/ElastiCache or OpenSearch.
• Familiarity with DevOps/SRE concepts for monitoring and high availability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Aurora database tuning and optimization.
• Background in SRE practices for high-availability systems.
