Description

Design, implement, and maintain AWS database solutions. Own the performance, security, and availability of data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS database solutions using Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
• Monitor performance, optimize queries, indexes, and configurations to ensure efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers to create database schemas, stored procedures, and objects.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and ensure data integrity.
• Perform maintenance including updates, migrations, scaling, and backup strategy testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing AWS database services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, DynamoDB, and SQL.
• Expertise in database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• AWS Certified Database Specialty or related certification.
