Description

You will manage software deployments and infrastructure in AWS as a Build/Release Engineer within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Software Engineers, QA, and Operations to ensure smooth software update deployments.
• Improve build and deployment processes for applications and infrastructure hosted in AWS.
• Develop and maintain reusable automation scripts and components using Git, build runners, and IaC.
• Maintain the systems supporting the SDLM stack.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in build/release engineering or similar roles.
• Strong experience deploying applications and databases in AWS.
• Proficiency with Ansible and Python for automation and scripting.
• Experience with Git and the Gitflow branching model.
• Working knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, WCF, ASP.NET, and Windows services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Blue/Green deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with Java application deployment and component management.
• Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Messaging Architecture.
• Ability to work with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Ant.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud-based certifications.
• Experience with Docker and .NET Core deployments.
