Description

Scale and improve application reliability within the AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Containerize applications and migrate services from EC2 Auto Scaling Groups to EKS, ECS, or Lambda.
• Implement a monitoring stack to drive service capacity planning.
• Update deployment models to support automatic rollbacks and minimal downtime during production releases.
• Migrate workflows to the AWS CI/CD stack and manage provisioning of compute resources.
• Assist in the implementation of AI/ML model development and data platform architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working as a DevOps engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda and S3.
• Proficiency with containerization tools such as Kubernetes, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or similar.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Code Build, AWS ECR, and Helm.
• Practical knowledge of Jenkins as code and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong Linux and Shell Scripting skills using Bash and Python.
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL.
• Ability to work effectively within an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience wrangling data and hosting/deploying AI models.
