Description

You will design and implement complex applications and databases within an AWS environment, translating technical specifications into code for new projects and existing enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy code artifacts into development, test, and production environments.
• Implement automated testing techniques to support the software development lifecycle.
• Provide production support and manage change control requests and documentation.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in design, code, and test inspections.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Java and Spring frameworks.
• Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Hands-on development using AWS AppSync and Lambda.
• Backend and datastore expertise with DynamoDB, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with eventing services including Kinesis Streams, SNS, and SQS.
• Knowledge of AWS CloudWatch, EventBridge, and AWS Simple Workflow.
• Experience with Apache Flink.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
