Description

You will support application development teams in migrating legacy on-premises databases to modern AWS cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support development teams in migrating application architecture to AWS cloud databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AWS database services into existing and new applications.
• Provide hands-on development and architectural guidance during the transition from on-prem to cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AWS databases during development and deployment.
• Contribute to best practices, performance tuning, and optimization of cloud-native database solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Aurora (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Proven experience with AWS DynamoDB, including data modeling and performance tuning.
• Experience working in agile environments supporting enterprise-level application migrations.
• Proficiency with AWS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS Redshift.
