Description

You will design, develop, and implement complex applications and databases within an AWS environment, translating technical specifications into production-ready code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy code artifacts for new projects and enhancements.
• Manage the release pipeline across development, test, and production environments.
• Mentor junior staff and lead technical inspections to identify issues throughout the software lifecycle.
• Integrate third-party products and resolve elevated technical issues.
• Provide production support and manage change control documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring frameworks.
• Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Hands-on development using AWS Lambda.
• Backend and datastore expertise with DynamoDB, SQL, and Postgres.
• Experience with eventing technologies including AWS Kinesis, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Knowledge of AppSync and AWS Simple Workflow.
• Experience with Apache Flink and CloudWatch.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and architecture standards.

Preferred Skills

• Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
