Description

Develop and maintain cloud-native applications and data pipelines on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage microservices using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement API architectures following REST and security best practices.
• Develop data lakes using S3 for storage and Glue or EMR for compute.
• Create and maintain unit, functional, and integration tests.
• Manage cloud infrastructure through automation using CloudFormation or Terraform.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with AWS technologies including Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Step Functions, KMS, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Java 8 or above and the Spring ecosystem.
• Experience with AWS databases including RDS/Aurora and DynamoDB.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database design and management.
• Hands-on experience with Python programming.
• Competency in testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, and PowerMock.
• Experience with API design, integration, and management tools.
• Ability to use AWS SDK for application development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Agile methodologies using Scrum and JIRA.
• Background in Wealth and Asset Management or Finance.
