Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend systems and data workflows on AWS using Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize serverless functions using AWS Lambda with heavy coding focus.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs using API Gateway.
• Orchestrate complex workflows using Step Functions and distributed messaging via EventBridge, SQS, and SNS.
• Implement CI/CD processes, monitoring, and production support.
• Integrate and manage data stores including S3, DynamoDB, and RDS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python for backend development.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• Proficiency in distributed messaging systems: EventBridge, SQS, SNS.
• Experience with AWS data services: S3, DynamoDB, RDS.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
