Description

You will scale and migrate applications within an AWS environment to improve reliability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Containerize applications and migrate services from EC2 Auto Scaling Groups to EKS, ECS, or Lambda.
• Build and manage a monitoring stack to drive service capacity planning.
• Update deployment models to support automatic rollbacks and minimize production downtime.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, CodeBuild, AWS ECR, and Helm.
• Provision compute resources and manage infrastructure as code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda and S3.
• Proficiency in containerization tools such as Kubernetes or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Experience with Jenkins, including Jenkins as code.
• Strong skills in Linux and Shell Scripting using Bash or Python.
• Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically MySQL.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience working within an Agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure as code and Helm.
