Description

Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Python for backend services and Angular or React for frontend interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy cloud applications using Python and TypeScript.
• Write Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or Terraform to manage deployment modules.
• Model business processes using AWS Step Functions and manage container-based applications.
• Lead technical areas including database management, programming, and cloud security integration.
• Remediate code and perform unit testing during the development and deployment lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud application development.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Angular or React.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Experience with AWS services: S3, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and Application Load Balancers.
• Knowledge of cloud security protocols (Okta or Cognito) and least privilege access.
• Experience with AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail for logging and auditing.
• Proficiency in command line tools (PowerShell or Bash).
• Strong understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.

Preferred Skills

• GovCloud development experience.
