Description

Build and deploy cloud applications on AWS using Python, modern front-end frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend services in Python and front-end interfaces using Angular or React.
• Write Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or Terraform to manage cloud resources.
• Model business processes with AWS Step Functions and manage event-driven architectures using EventBridge, SNS, and SQS.
• Design data lakes using Glue, Athena, and Redshift, including writing PySpark jobs.
• Perform code remediation, unit testing, and manage container deployments using Docker.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of AWS cloud application development experience.
• Expertise in Python application design, packaging, and deployment.
• Experience with AWS Lambda (zip and Docker) and layer management.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Angular, or React for container-based REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CDK or Terraform for IaC.
• Knowledge of Docker, Airflow, and workflow design.
• Database development and migration using Postgres and Redshift.
• Competency in unit testing, mocking, AWS CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.

Preferred Skills

• GovCloud development experience.
