Description

You will design, implement, and manage scalable Kafka-based solutions within a React, Node.js, and GCP environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of high-availability Kafka clusters on GCP, ensuring fault tolerance.
• Integrate Kafka messaging with React and Node.js applications deployed on Google Cloud Platform.
• Monitor Kafka infrastructure for performance, reliability, and optimal availability.
• Implement security best practices for Kafka and cloud resources to safeguard data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Kafka-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.

Required Skills

• 7-11 years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep expertise in Apache Kafka architecture, configuration, and scaling.
• Strong proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS DevOps tools and practices.
• Proficiency in Python, Terraform, Node.js, and React.
• Experience with capacity planning and performance tuning of distributed systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical initiatives.
• Strong documentation skills for technical procedures and architecture.
