Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Build, configure, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Manage AWS services including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, EKS, ECS, ELB/ALB, Route 53, CloudWatch, and Auto Scaling.
  • Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes/Amazon EKS.
  • Implement deployment strategies such as Blue/Green, Rolling, and Canary deployments.
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
  • Automate operational and infrastructure tasks using Python, Bash, Shell scripting, or similar technologies.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Amazon CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, and related tools.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, application, networking, and performance issues across AWS environments.
  • Implement AWS security best practices including IAM roles and policies, security groups, encryption, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
  • Manage configuration and secrets using technologies such as AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store and AWS Secrets Manager.
  • Support multi-account and multi-environment AWS architectures.
  • Implement automated backup, disaster recovery, scalability, and high-availability solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment and release processes.
  • Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, infrastructure standards, and operational runbooks.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation, reliability, performance, security, and cloud cost optimization.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or related roles.
  • 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure and services.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline, or similar CI/CD technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix administration.
  • Experience with scripting using Python, Bash, or Shell.
  • Understanding of AWS networking including VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, VPNs, and DNS.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions.
  • Understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, and AWS security best practices.
  • Experience using Git and modern source-control workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
