Description

You will design and implement public cloud infrastructure and large-scale Kubernetes clusters in Palo Alto, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes clusters, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Build release pipelines to enable fast, safe delivery of critical software to production.
• Scale systems through automation and drive best practices in cost optimization, security, and reliability.
• Manage incident response, participate in on-call rotations, and conduct blameless postmortems.
• Mentor junior engineers and bridge the gap between stakeholder requirements and development.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of DevOps and release orchestration experience with highly available AWS or GCP services.
• 10+ years of experience with Linux environments (RHHEL 6/7/8, CentOS, RHCSA/RHCE).
• 7+ years of experience with cloud-native tools including container security, service mesh, and container networking.
• 7+ years of experience designing and managing CI/CD platforms like Jenkins for multiple daily releases.
• 5+ years of automation experience using Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Jenkins.
• 5+ years of programming experience in Python, Go, Ruby, or Java.
• 3+ years of experience running cloud services using Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
• Experience implementing observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, or New Relic.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
