Description

Design, deploy, and manage secure, scalable AWS data platforms and infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer complex Linux environments and manage EMR clusters.
• Design and maintain AWS solutions using EKS, EMR, and Serverless architectures.
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Configure Okta AD Groups for role-based access control and manage Okta API integrations.
• Troubleshoot Jupyter notebooks with SparkMagic in EMR and EMR Serverless environments.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional Linux system administration experience.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, specifically EMR.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure as code.
• Hands-on experience with Okta, Active Directory, and Centrify integrations.
• Experience with AWS Lake Formation, Parquet file formats, and IBM DataStage.
• Strong background in CI/CD, DevOps automation, and infrastructure security.
• Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting.
• Knowledge of data lake architecture and big data processing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS SageMaker and other AWS data science tools.
