Description

You will manage the deployment, automation, and maintenance of AWS cloud-based production systems in Plano, TX.

Responsibilities

• Write well-defined, tested Terraform code to enforce architectural standards and frameworks.
• Build CI/CD pipelines to automate the release and configuration of production systems.
• Ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production environments.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across various application domains and platforms.
• Maintain existing codebases and perform peer reviews on code changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 2-3+ years of experience in an architecture environment.
• Proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, VPC, EKS, CloudFront, and API Gateway.
• Experience deploying microservices architectures, specifically using Kubernetes.
• Strong debugging skills within Kubernetes environments.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python and Bash/Shell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI and Argo CD.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional AWS services like ECS, S3, Lambda, RDS, and Route 53.
• Familiarity with secrets management tools like HCP Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
