Description

Lead the technical implementation and architectural design of large-scale cloud applications, owning the infrastructure-as-code strategy and CI/CD pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Sceptre.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices within an event-driven architecture.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices across the software lifecycle.
• Manage cloud-native services including EKS/ECS, Lambda, and Glue jobs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: S3, DynamoDB, EKS, SQS, MSK, KMS, ALB/NLB, Kinesis Data Streams, Eventbridge, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Proficiency in Java and the JEE stack, including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Actuator.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or NodeJS.
• Extensive experience with Terraform, Groovy, and Spinnaker.
• Deep understanding of REST architecture, Microservices, and event-driven design.
• Experience with BDD test automation frameworks such as Cucumber or Karate.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification.
• Experience with Reactive Java implementations or Python-based Glue jobs.
