Description

You will own the design, automation, and operation of cloud infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy infrastructure for analytics tools on AWS.
• Architect and manage Amazon EKS clusters for containerized workloads.
• Develop and automate scripts for software component deployment, including custom microservices.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS services like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Optimize system performance in AWS for cost efficiency and resilience.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience spanning software development and DevOps.
• 5+ years building and maintaining CI/CD tooling (GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins Pipelines, Bitbucket, GitHub) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• 3+ years production experience with core AWS services (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, API Gateway, ALB, ELB, Lambda).
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Amazon EKS and container orchestration.
• 3+ years Unix/Linux system administration experience.
• Proficiency in R and Python.
• Strong automation scripting skills in Bash, Shell, and Python.
• Experience supporting web technologies running Apache or NGINX.
