Description

Lead AWS infrastructure operations and cloud migration strategies for on-premise to AWS transitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud migration projects from on-premise servers to AWS environments.
• Design and implement automated deployment pipelines and continuous integration systems.
• Build and maintain monitoring and observability frameworks on AWS.
• Apply the AWS Well-Architected Framework to ensure secure and efficient infrastructure.
• Drive technical consensus and collaboration across onsite and offshore teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional IT experience with a current focus as an AWS Lead.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, EC2, EBS, VPC, and VPC Endpoints.
• Deep understanding of AWS networking, security, and image management.
• 3+ years of experience setting up monitoring and observability on AWS.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Shell.
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD systems.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite-offshore delivery model.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing complex EBS volumes and snapshots.
