Description

You will manage and optimize EKS clusters and observability pipelines within AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer EKS clusters while implementing comprehensive monitoring and logging using CloudWatch.
• Architect observability pipelines for AWS services including EKS, SQS, and Firehose.
• Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Helm, and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Configure Splunk SaaS and OpenTelemetry collectors to ensure system visibility.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, ADRs, and runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing or traditional IT infrastructure.
• In-depth experience configuring and administering AWS EKS clusters.
• Hands-on experience with Splunk SaaS in AWS and EKS environments.
• Strong understanding of OpenTelemetry and OpenTelemetry Collector configuration.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Helm for infrastructure management.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Shell.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Artifact Registry.
• Knowledge of large-scale distributed systems, networking, and storage.
• Understanding of Linux/UNIX and Windows operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS services such as SQS and Firehose.
