You will configure, tune, and support Watson AIOps infrastructure, managing topology, event correlation, and AI insights.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Integrate event management into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments with DevOps and SRE teams.
• Develop and maintain event ingestion pipelines from diverse monitoring tools and infrastructure sources.
• Implement automation and remediation workflows leveraging Watson AIOps and supporting tools.
• Analyze event noise, identify patterns, and refine event correlation and suppression methods.
• Support the migration from legacy platforms like Netcool and NOI to Watson AIOps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in relevant engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps (event manager, topology, runbook automation).
• Strong grasp of event management principles, monitoring tools, and observability practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Experience with Kafka, REST APIs, and webhook-based integrations.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure.
• Experience with containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
