Description

You will configure, tune, and support Watson AIOps, owning event correlation and AI-driven insights.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration and tuning of Watson AIOps, including topology and event correlation.
• Integrate event management into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native environments with DevOps and SRE teams.
• Develop and maintain event ingestion pipelines from monitoring tools and infrastructure sources.
• Implement automation and remediation workflows using Watson AIOps.
• Support the transition from legacy platforms like Netcool and NOI to Watson AIOps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with event management principles and observability practices.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Pak for Watson AIOps, including event manager and runbook automation.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code.
• Knowledge of Kafka, REST APIs, and webhook-based integrations.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience with containerized environments, including Docker and Kubernetes.
