Description

You will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a flagship application while driving its migration to the AWS public cloud.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to develop and maintain application features with a focus on operational performance.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure quality and support engineering leadership.
• Execute a complete performance audit to identify and implement system improvements.
• Evaluate technology choices for database, caching, logging, and scaling during cloud migration.
• Develop new modular, reusable Services and APIs through hands-on coding.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of relevant work experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience migrating native, on-premises applications to the public cloud (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency with Java/Linux or .NET/Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge of J2EE, Spring, Servlet, Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOA, and AJAX.
• Hands-on experience with OOP, microservices, design patterns, and multi-threading.
• Technical experience with JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Oracle, and UNIX.
• Familiarity with network protocols including TCP/IP and HTTP.
• AWS Developer, SA, or SysOps certification at Associate or Professional level.
• Experience with server backend and API/Service development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with rules engines like DROOLS or Spring Integration.
• Knowledge of caching technologies and mobile web experience.
