Description

You will lead the development and cloud migration of a flagship application to AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects to develop, maintain, and migrate application features to the public cloud.
• Conduct code reviews and support engineering leadership to ensure code quality.
• Execute performance audits to identify and implement system improvements.
• Evaluate technology choices for database, caching, logging, and scaling during migration.
• Develop new modular, reusable services and APIs through hands-on coding.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of work experience or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience migrating native or on-premises applications to AWS.
• Proficiency in Java/Linux or .NET/Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge of J2EE, Spring, Servlets, Web Services, XML, XSLT, SOA, and AJAX.
• Hands-on experience with OOP, microservices, design patterns, and multi-threading.
• Technical experience with JUnit/TestNG, Maven, Oracle, and UNIX.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP and HTTP network protocols.
• AWS Developer, SA, or SysOps certification (Associate or Professional level).
• Experience with server backend and API/Service development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with rules engines like DROOLS or Spring Integration.
• Knowledge of caching technologies and mobile web experience.
