Description

You will design and implement cloud solutions within the AWS ecosystem, owning the full lifecycle from infrastructure to application code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement AWS solutions using EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, Elastic Load Balancer, and Auto Scaling groups.
• Design and recommend networking constructs for the AWS Public cloud platform, including AWS Direct Connect to on-premise datacenters.
• Develop, code, test, and debug moderate to complex software solutions in Java and NodeJS.
• Participate in detailed code and design reviews within an Agile/Scrum development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain software technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Hands-on AWS System Administration: EC2, Beanstalk, ECS, VPN, S3, SQS, SNS.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for microservices development.
• 2+ years of application development experience using NodeJS.
• Practical knowledge of SQL and NoSQL data storage strategies.
• Experience integrating legacy and modern RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins 2.0.
• Monitoring experience using New Relic and AWS CloudWatch.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
