Description

You will design, build, and deploy data-driven components within an event-driven architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery by translating requirements into technical scope and system design.
• Provide leadership and peer reviews to ensure developer accountability.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs and align on delivery timing.
• Engage in the full development lifecycle of streaming and data processing applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software or data engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, Spark, PySpark, and Pandas.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Flink, and Kafka Streams APIs.
• Extensive use of AWS services including EMR, S3, Lambda, Athena, and Glue Catalog.
• Deep knowledge of AWS data tools: Redshift, Lake Formation, DynamoDB, and Aurora.
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL: MySQL, Postgres, and DocumentDB.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with DevOps pipelines using Bitbucket and Concourse.
• Strong understanding of IAM roles, policies, and AWS monitoring via CloudWatch and CloudTrail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ECS/EKS.
• AWS Practitioner, Developer, or Data Specialty certifications.
