Design and implement complex IAM policies and role structures across multi-account AWS environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect enterprise-grade IAM solutions that balance security, manageability, and operational efficiency.
• Establish secure IAM mechanisms for cross-account access while maintaining scalability.
• Analyze CloudTrail and access logs to identify root causes of IAM issues and proactively address security gaps.
• Diagnose and resolve IAM-related incidents efficiently to minimize business impact.
• Lead architectural discussions and mentor teams on IAM strategy, providing actionable guidance to developers and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and IAM architecture.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS IAM policies, roles, and permission structures.
• Proven experience designing and implementing multi-account IAM strategies and cross-account communication patterns.
• Strong proficiency in CloudTrail and access log analysis for troubleshooting and security audits.
• Demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable, and maintainable IAM solutions.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Leadership capability and experience guiding technical teams on complex IAM topics.
