Description

You will operate, support, and evolve AWS infrastructure across a multi-account environment, ensuring reliability and operational clarity. This role owns the EKS platform, Terraform-based IaC, and CI/CD pipelines while managing networking, security, and observability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support AWS infrastructure across a multi-account environment, covering EC2, VPC networking, IAM, SSO, IRSA, Route 53, KMS, and S3.
• Evolve Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code, contributing to shared, modular repositories and production modules.
• Maintain the EKS/Kubernetes platform, including node provisioning (Karpenter), cluster upgrades, Istio service-mesh rules, and GitOps deployments via ArgoCD and Helm.
• Support build and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, CircleCI, and Octopus Deploy.
• Manage VPC networking, DNS, routing, NACLs, load balancing, and WAF (Imperva) to secure application traffic.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on AWS experience in a multi-account environment (compute, VPC, IAM, DNS).
• 10+ years of overall work experience in infrastructure or platform engineering.
• Practical Terraform and IaC experience, specifically contributing to shared production repositories.
• Experience supporting Kubernetes/EKS in production, including node lifecycle and service mesh.
• Fluency in scripting with Python and Bash for automation and operational workflows.
• Solid networking fundamentals: VPC, routing, NACLs, DNS, load balancing, and WAF concepts.
• Familiarity with GitOps and CI/CD tooling such as ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Experience with observability stacks like Dynatrace, Observe, or CloudWatch for incident triage and telemetry.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certification.
• Experience with Imperva WAF and Account Factory for Terraform (AFT).
