Description

You will design, implement, and automate AWS IoT configurations to enhance security, scalability, and resilience for customer solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Propose and implement detailed AWS IoT service configurations based on project requirements.
• Advise on technical trade-offs, risks, and potential solution options.
• Deploy configurations using Terraform for infrastructure as code and Python scripting.
• Build automated solutions that integrate directly into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document architectures, deployment guides, operational runbooks, and testing approaches.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with AWS.
• 3+ years of experience specifically with AWS IoT services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Core, SiteWise, SiteWise Edge, and Greengrass.
• Experience configuring AWS IoT Device Defender.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Python scripting for automation.
• Experience with Linux OS configuration.
• Knowledge of AWS CloudWatch, IAM, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Deep understanding of AWS IoT security, best practices, and the AWS Well-Architected security pillar/IoT lens.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.

• AWS Certifications.
