Description

You will design and implement AWS IoT configurations to improve security, scalability, and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Propose and implement detailed configurations of AWS IoT services based on project requirements.
• Advise on technical tradeoffs, risks, and options for potential architectural solutions.
• Deploy configurations using Terraform or Python scripting where Infrastructure as Code is required.
• Build deployable solutions that integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.

Required Skills

• 5 years of experience working with AWS.
• 3 years of experience specifically with AWS IoT services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS IoT Core, SiteWise, SiteWise Edge, and GreenGrass.
• Experience configuring AWS IoT Device Defender.
• Proficiency with Python scripting and Terraform for automation.
• Experience with Linux OS configuration.
• Deep understanding of AWS IoT security best practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework security pillar.
• Knowledge of CloudWatch, IAM, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications.
