You will specialize in the AWS IoT portfolio to implement and secure customer solutions.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Propose and implement detailed configurations of AWS IoT services to meet project requirements, guided by Enterprise and Cloud Architects.
• Advise on trade-offs, risks, and options for various potential technical solutions.
• Implement system configurations using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methods, specifically Terraform or Python scripting.
• Build solutions designed for automatic deployment and integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document solutions including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational runbooks, and advise on QA approaches.

Required Skills

• Deep subject matter expertise in AWS IoT services: IoT Core, SiteWise, SiteWise Edge, IoT Events, and IoT Device Defender.
• Baseline competency in AWS services: CloudWatch, IAM, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Experience implementing configurations to improve security, scalability, and resilience of solutions.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, specifically Terraform.
• Experience with Python scripting for configuration implementation.
• 5+ years of professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS Greengrass.
