Description

Design, develop, and test software systems using Java and J2EE technologies. Build and update services and APIs to support current and future projects. Implement software using SDLC methodologies including Agile and Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Build and support API platform implementations and web applications using Java and Python.
• Oversee peer code reviews and provide technical guidance to the development team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems in production environments.
• Implement software using SDLC methodologies including Agile and Scrum.
• Design and maintain cloud-native services on AWS.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience in software analysis, design, and development.
• Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Hibernate, Servlets, JNDI, JMS, and JDBC.
• Hands-on experience with Python.
• Experience using Java with AWS native services including Lambda, S3, and Kinesis Streams.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, Fargate, EC2, Step Functions, API Gateway, and DynamoDB.
• Strong understanding of Java EE design patterns and concurrent programming.
• Experience with SOAP and REST-based web services.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of API gateway solutions.
