Description

You will lead architectural design and software delivery for distributed systems on AWS.

You will own the architectural design from conceptual studies through construction documents, aligning with strategic vision. Manage software delivery including source code compilation, security compliance, vulnerability scanning, and building deployable units. Ensure high code coverage, unit testing, and performance measures are integrated into the delivery process. Provide leadership, mentorship, and advisory services to engineers to ensure alignment with architecture direction. Identify technical bottlenecks and implement process improvements or new tools to increase project efficiency. Lead technical team discussions, resolving conflicts and prioritizing competing demands and schedules.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 5+ years designing and implementing distributed applications and systems.
• 2+ years hands-on experience architecting and deploying solutions on AWS.
• Proficiency with Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Chef, and Python.
• AWS or Cloud-related certifications.
• Experience with application development and automation methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead solution architecture discussions and review designs.
• Experience managing on-premises to cloud migrations or IT transformations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supervising complex solution architecture discussions.
