Description

You will build and maintain backend applications using Java within an AWS environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java and AWS services.
• Implement unit tests using Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.
• Work through all software development phases, from requirements gathering to operations.
• Integrate solutions using REST and SOAP based Web services.

Required Skills

• Expert Level working experience with ELK or EFK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, FluentD, Kibana).
• Mid to Expert Level experience with AWS Cloud Platform.
• Strong background experience in Java development, including J2EE technologies.
• Proficiency with core Java technologies: Servlets, JNDI, JMS, JDBC, Hibernate.
• Experience with version control using GitLab and static code analysis with SonarQube.
• Knowledge of asynchronous processing with AWS Managed Kafka or Confluent Cloud.
• Experience with concurrent programming and Object Oriented design patterns.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of working experience.
• Any Graduate education.
