Description

Design, develop, and automate scalable backend applications and data pipelines using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud-native technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines using AWS Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Aurora, and Redshift.
• Drive continuous integration and test automation pipelines using GitHub/GitLab, SonarQube, and JUnit.
• Support and modernize existing enterprise J2EE architectures while evolving them toward cloud environments.
• Translate business requirements into implementation, testing, and cloud operations across the full software development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile sprints and mandatory in-person Program Increment (PI) Planning events.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Deep proficiency with AWS services including Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Aurora, and Redshift.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns, Hibernate, and J2EE technologies (Servlets, JMS, JDBC, MQ).
• Hands-on experience with SQL, JSON, XML/XSLT, JAXB, SOAP, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD tools like GitHub/GitLab and SonarQube.
• Ability to write unit tests using TDD and BDD methodologies (JUnit).
• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and HTML.
• Solid understanding of enterprise security principles, including JAAS, HTTPS, and encryption.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with concurrent programming and Web Services.
• Background in migrating legacy enterprise applications to modern cloud architectures.
