Handle escalated, complex technical issues related to AWS infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own escalated, second-line incidents from L1 support, delivering timely AWS service resolutions.
• Troubleshoot advanced AWS issues concerning network configuration, system connectivity, and performance.
• Manage AWS cloud systems, ensuring availability, scalability, and security across services like EC2, RDS, and Lambda.
• Automate routine maintenance tasks, scaling, and updates using AWS CLI, CloudFormation, and Lambda.
• Collaborate with 3rd line engineers and architects to implement long-term solutions for recurring problems.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in cloud support with extensive AWS knowledge.
• Proficiency with AWS core services including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, and Lambda.
• Strong scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and tuning.
• Experience with AWS monitoring tools such as CloudWatch.
• Solid understanding of AWS security practices, including IAM, encryption, and VPN.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CloudFormation.
• Advanced networking and Linux/Windows administration experience.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of working experience in AWS support.
• Experience with complex multi-service AWS environments.
