Description

You will lead the design and implementation of big data architectures across cloud and on-premise environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver proofs-of-concept to address specific business needs using appropriate data sources.
• Migrate complex workloads from on-premise environments to the cloud.
• Partner with executive stakeholders as a trusted advisor while enabling technical implementers.
• Manage data pipelines and storage using AWS collection and compute services.
• Monitor distributed infrastructure using AWS tools or open-source stacks.

Required Skills

• 10 to 15 years of industry experience in data architecture.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant field.
• Proficiency in AWS Kinesis, Kafka, and Database Migration Service.
• Expertise in AWS storage including S3, EBS, and EFS.
• Experience with AWS compute services: EC2, Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Athena, Glue, PySpark, EMR, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting.
• Advanced SQL knowledge and experience with Agile or Kanban methodologies.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Data Analytics certification.

Preferred Skills

• Experience monitoring infrastructure with CloudWatch, Prometheus, or the ELK stack.
