Description

You will automate infrastructure and maintain Linux systems within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions using Ansible and Terraform to replace manual build tasks.
• Manage immutable infrastructure and idempotent scripting for software deployments.
• Build and manage AMI pipelines using Packer, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
• Maintain Linux systems, including kernel hardening, security patching, and user/group management.
• Provide production support through incident management, capacity planning, and performance monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong expertise in AWS, specifically EC2, EBS, Auto-scaling, and Load Balancing.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration management via Ansible.
• Deep knowledge of Linux OS internals, including boot processes, networking (TCP/IP), and storage (LVM, SAN, NAS).
• Experience with image management using Packer and version control via Git.
• Ability to manage Linux security, including SSH configuration, SUDO, and file system permissions.
• Hands-on experience with Bash scripting and YUM/DNF/RPM management.
• Working knowledge of .NET, SQL, and Python.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
