Description

You will lead the end-to-end migration of on-premises infrastructure to AWS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assess on-premises infrastructure and design migration plans for servers, SQL databases, and VDI.
• Execute physical and virtual server migrations using AWS MGN or VM Import/Export.
• Migrate SQL Server workloads to Amazon RDS or EC2 using AWS DMS and SCT.
• Transition VDI environments to Amazon WorkSpaces or AppStream 2.0.
• Automate migration tasks and ensure deployments follow the AWS Well-Architected Framework.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud migration.
• Hands-on experience managing large-scale data center migrations (200+ servers).
• Proficiency with AWS migration services including MGN, DMS, and SCT.
• Experience migrating SQL databases to Amazon RDS or EC2.
• Technical expertise in VDI migration and desktop performance assessment.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Configuration management using Ansible.
• Knowledge of AWS security, cost optimization, and high availability patterns.
