Description

You will design, configure, and optimize AWS networking components and hybrid cloud connectivity solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, transit gateways, and ELB.
• Implement hybrid cloud security and connectivity using AWS Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, and Transit Gateway attachments.
• Configure and troubleshoot security groups, NACLs, VPC endpoints, AWS Network Firewall, and PrivateLink.
• Develop automation scripts and templates for network provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues using CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering and cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in AWS networking: VPC, Route 53, CloudFront, and multi-region failover strategies.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Python, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of routing protocols including BGP and OSPF.
• Experience managing multi-account environments via AWS Organizations, SCPs, and AWS Control Tower.
• Hands-on experience with container networking in ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes (CNI plugins, Istio).
• Knowledge of IP technologies: IP addressing, HSRP, VPNs, IPSec, Load balancing, QoS, SNMP, and 802.11x.
• Experience configuring Ethernet switches, routers, load balancers, VPN concentrators, and firewalls.
• Ability to work with third-party tools such as Palo Alto, Cisco, or Juniper SRX.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect certifications.
