Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and manage AWS network infrastructure across multiple environments.
• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, Internet Gateways, NAT Gateways, and VPC endpoints.
• Implement and manage AWS Transit Gateway and hybrid connectivity between on-premises data centers and AWS.
• Configure Site-to-Site VPN, Direct Connect, BGP, and routing protocols.
• Design and maintain security groups, Network ACLs, AWS Network Firewall, and other network security controls.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, DNS, latency, and performance issues.
• Work with AWS Load Balancer services (ALB/NLB) and enterprise DNS solutions.
• Monitor network infrastructure using CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, CloudTrail, and other monitoring tools.
• Implement network automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, or AWS CLI.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, DevOps, application, and infrastructure teams.
• Develop network architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Follow enterprise security, compliance, and change-management standards.
Required Skills
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering, with strong AWS cloud networking experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
o Amazon VPC
o Transit Gateway
o Direct Connect
o Site-to-Site VPN
o Route Tables
o NAT Gateway
o VPC Peering
o VPC Endpoints
o ALB / NLB
o Route 53
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, BGP, VPN, routing, and network security.
• Experience with Cisco networking, firewalls, routing, and switching.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong troubleshooting and network performance-analysis skills.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
