Description

You will build and deploy serverless API services on AWS using Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Build API services with Node.js and deploy via AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Implement unit and integration testing using the Mocha framework.
• Configure and manage AWS services including RDS, Kafka, ELB, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Develop infrastructure as code using AWS CDK for SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.
• Manage data security through encryption and decryption of PII data in transit and at rest.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Node.js for service development and testing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• Experience with AWS CDK and serverless stacks.
• Direct experience with RDS, Kafka, ELB, Secret Manager, S3, CloudWatch, and EventBridge.
• Knowledge of SQS, SNS, and DynamoDB.
• Understanding of advanced networking including Transit Gateway, VPC endpoints, and multi-account connectivity.
• Competency in Mocha for unit testing.
• Experience with Docker products.
