Description

You will design, deploy, and manage OpenShift clusters on bare metal infrastructure, owning the full lifecycle from node management to control plane components. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage OpenShift networking (CNI) and storage (CSI) configurations.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Execute major and minor version upgrades and patching for OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure management using Ansible and Terraform.
• Perform backups using OpenShift API Data Protection (OADP).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift Data Foundation storage.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and OpenShift cluster management.
• Experience with Ansible and Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
• Strong knowledge of RBAC and security implementation.
• Expertise with Prometheus and Grafana for application monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues across networking, infrastructure, applications, and databases.
• Experience managing OpenShift operators and control plane components.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced Cluster Management and Regional DR knowledge.
• Bare metal hardware knowledge.
• Bare metal OpenShift or Kubernetes certifications.
