Description

You will own the remediation of AWS cloud security vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps across production and non-production environments. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Review security findings from AWS-native and enterprise tools, determine remediation approaches, and implement fixes to validate successful closure.
• Establish automation capabilities using infrastructure as code, policy as code, and CI/CD pipelines to reduce recurring vulnerabilities and improve developer experience.
• Support system design consulting, secure platform engineering, capacity planning, launch reviews, and operational readiness reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud security and infrastructure issues, engaging stakeholders to drive timely remediation and risk reduction.
• Guide customers on cloud-native design, secure architecture patterns, and migration strategies for legacy applications to secure, cloud-native patterns.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with AWS security services, IAM hardening, encryption, logging, monitoring, and patching.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, Java, Groovy, or Go.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code tools: Ansible, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Experience with Docker or other OCI-certified containers.
• Understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Ability to analyze system telemetry to identify problems, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud security and platform engineering.
• Any Graduate education.
