Description

Design, develop, and deploy optimization models and algorithms on AWS using Python and Gurobi. You will translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions and validate approaches through rapid proof-of-concept development.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and solve complex business problems using Gurobi optimization libraries.
• Develop proof-of-concept models to validate solution approaches quickly.
• Deploy and manage optimization workloads on AWS infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to implement technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Gurobi for mathematical optimization.
• Proven track record of deploying and managing applications on AWS.
• Ability to translate business logic into algorithmic solutions.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.

Preferred Skills

• Background in operations research or data science.
• Experience working directly with software engineering and data science stakeholders.
