Description

Design, develop, and maintain scalable serverless REST APIs using Python and AWS Lambda.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize REST APIs with Python and AWS Lambda in a serverless architecture.
• Integrate applications with Amazon Aurora and DynamoDB, managing schema changes via Liquibase.
• Implement automated testing, monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting for APIs and database operations.
• Develop, test, and deploy cloud-native applications following AWS security and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python and REST API development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, Amazon Aurora, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in database migration tools such as Liquibase.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with PySpark for data processing.
• Ability to write technical documentation and conduct code reviews.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile project management and stakeholder communication.
• Proven track record of mentoring team members and leading technical initiatives.
