Description

Design and maintain scalable Python applications on AWS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build secure, serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and SAM.
• Manage NoSQL databases including DynamoDB and MongoDB.
• Implement secure inter-service communication via REST, SQS, and Kafka.
• Participate in code reviews to enforce security best practices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on Python programming.
• Expertise in AWS services: EC2, VPC, S3, Lambda, Route53, RDS, API Gateway.
• Strong experience with DynamoDB and MongoDB.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS networking and load balancing (ELB, ALB, NLB).
• Proficiency with containerization using AWS ECS and ECR.
• Experience with messaging services: SQS, SNS, and Kafka.
• Implementation of security protocols using IAM Roles, KMS, and pseudonymization.
• Experience with CloudWatch for monitoring and observability.
• Background in cloud migration projects.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with cloud migration workflows.
